Anger is an emotion experienced by everyone and plays an important function in motivating positive and/or negative change. Anger is often a defensive mechanism, protecting us from emotions we are not prepared to face.
Violence, domestically or otherwise, is more than just Out of Control anger and is often a behavior used to gain power and control over the other person.
This program seeks to examine the causes of emotional 'conflict' and triggering behaviors. Helping participants gain insight into those conflicting behaviors in order to develop conscious strategies for meeting their collective needs without destructive power abuses.
